Mwalimu Julius Nyerere said "Mjinga ni mtu ambaye hajui, ila akielezwa anajua.

He went on further to say “Ujinga ni ugonjwa ambao uko na tiba, ila upumbavu ni maumbile”.
It is imperative of you to note that stupidity in Swahili means Ujinga, while foolishness means Upumbavu.
In Kenya, there are individuals who suffer not just from foolishness but what I would term as blockhead dullards . These individuals predominantly belong to the Gikuyu community. I will illustrate their folly in the following statement.
During the 2022 general elections, a 61-year-old man of sound mind, who was serving as President at that time, went to Mount Kenya and cautioned the Gikuyus against voting for one William Ruto. He informed them that he had a better understanding of him and that he was not a suitable leader for this nation.
In response, they unleashed a barrage of verbal attacks, hurling unprintable insults at him, and even extending their vitriol to his mother, an 89-year-old woman. The Gikuyus acted in a manner that was quite unbecoming, even claiming that roads are not meant for consumption.
Ultimately, they succeeded in electing Ruto, who subsequently revealed his true nature as essential services became increasingly unaffordable. A tribal demagogue was impeached, and now these same individuals are lamenting that Ruto is a poor leader.
Aren’t these people fools? According to me, these are people who lacks emotional intelligence and possess extremely low IQs, the best terms to describe such jesters are "imbecile, dunce, simpleton, dolt, nincompoop, blockhead, and morons.
