A friend of mine is domiciled in Kericho. Last week he travelled to Nakuru in a company vehicle that happens to be embellished with a large corporate logo. He paid the requisite parking fee and went on his merry way. Upon his return, he found his vehicle clamped and was asked to produce a “branding certificate” - something that he had hitherto not heard of.
Apparently, it is a requirement of the Nakuru County (and Nairobi County… I think) that all vehicles that “advertise” get a branding certificate. Splashing your logo and company name is considered to be advertising.
So,
a) does your County require a branding certificate?
b) is such a certificate issued in County A recognized in County B?
a) from your tale answer is YES for my county
b) once you pay one county you cannot pay to another county. you only pay the county where the car will ne domiciled and operational
