They once fought over this same region. Anyway this is just posturing and none will go to war anytime soon especially since now both are nuclear powers. This tension helps both military since it drives the need for more military spending and upgrades from both sides and both military chiefs are happy with that.

India is now a military power house, its building its own jets, modern ships, submarines and tanks. Its even doing joint stealth fighter program with Russia. Pakistan couldn’t keep up so it buys the same from China.
