Bolivia is a Specialist in Coups d'état

Bolivia experiences some of the most aggressive political instability in the world. The instability is down to fanatic diverse groupings that rarely see eye to eye on political issues. These groupings include but are not limited to Mestizos, Indigenous Bolivians, Right-wing, Left-wing, conservatives, socialists, pro-USA, anti-USA, poor, rich, urban and rural Bolivians. It’s not uncommon to form a fanatic political faction in Bolivia only for it to be aggressively opposed by another fanatic faction.

Politically evolved societies , like the Swiss , have had 500 years of tinkering , tweaking and learning to resolve differences amicably…
That is what politically mature societies do …
.
And carefully note :
Such societies have leaderships who are subordinate to their electorate, serve their interests and at their pleasure …
.
South Africa had a magic moment during Nelson Madiba Mandela’s time to get things Right …
Then came Jacob Zuma and the Gupta’s …
The rest is history …:grin:
