Today at about 10.00 Am Deputy Governor of Tharaka Nithi county Dr. Eliud mureithi mate had just arrived in his homestead at Kinoru stadium and Immediately he was alighting from his vehicle his bodyguard Apc Josphat kibiegon confronted him and picked a bag which had Sh 3.5 million. The two struggled but the bodyguard removed his pistol and aimed at the deputy governor who ran for his safety. Manhunt for the suspect mounted.
