Yaya Center was owned by LZ Engineering. Which is owned by Biwott. However Biwott was not the original owner of LZ Engineering. The Original owner is an Israeli called Gad Zeevi. Over a disagreement of 600 million ksh ( in the late 80s early 90s) Biwott had him deported and took over the company. That’s how he acquired Yaya Center.

No. It was some kind of investment by Zeevi and they couldnt agree on the ownership of HZ construction and LZ once Yaya was heading to completion. Zeevi, Moi and Biwott were involved in a lot of shit. Zeevi was an international “investor” with links in various regimes in Africa. He moved from Uganda during Idi Amins rule.
