We want to defend Kenya from dangerous Tanzanian missiles
Kenyans need to wake up. We genuinely need modern weapons. However, I would argue that we need offense weapons instead of defensive weapons. The best defense is a good offense. Just because we are at peace with our neighbors today does not mean they won’t be a threat in the near future.
If you study history, you will learn that the bloodiest battles ever fought were between neighboring countries. Germany started by invading Poland and France. North vs South Korea etc. Right now, Ethiopia has been hinting that it MUST get a coastline by force or peace and a country will have to give (most likely Somalia or Eritrea).
We are surrounded by 3 landlocked countries (Uganda, South Sudan, and Ethiopia). Ethiopia alone has more than double Kenya’s population.
