This is how much you need to be in the top 1% by country.

@Tauren in how many countries would you qualify to be in the top 1%?

So in Kenya with about 3 million you are in the top1%. Don’t think so

You can be in the top 1% and still be broke.

I already have 4.5m so I am top 0.5%

Rubbish. Why do you Bonobos take the rubbish written by beberus to be the truth? Eti a net worth of 20,000 dollars makes you to be among the 1pc richest in Kenya? Sh3.7m?

Ha ha ha! Just ask yourself how many people have a plot worth 4m in Nairobi and it’s suburbs…prolly 400k people. That’s like 1 PC already. Now go all round Kenya and see…

And thats just land…

Bonobo thinking. Did you know that the top 1% own more wealth than the bottom 99% in some countries?? In fact, globally, on average, the top 1% own more than 40% of all the wealth. Hizo plots za 4M unasema they are owned by few people. Unapata mtu ako na plots kama kumi. Hata most landlords don’t own just 1 flat. Unapatanga ako na tatu ama nne and a portfolio of prime plots. Don’t let the number of plots fool you into thinking that there are many owners. Its one guy with 10 plots not 10 guys with one plot each.

Juzi tuu si kuna jamaa ameshikwa na 100+ plots…a fool like you would think that 100 people own one plot each.

Ni kama kuangalia shamba ya Uhuru and concluding that all Githurai/Kahawa residents have at least one plot. In reality shamba ni ya bwenyenye mmoja everyone else is a peasant.
