Aje sasa na biz ya magari hutegemea trust. Who will risk buying a car from the dude?

The guy had the perfect business model juu hakuwa anahitaji kuweka stock kubwa. Yani clients would give him the money anaorder unlike other dealers who have to invest heavily in buying vehicles.

Hiyo shortcut imeisha sasa. Akitaka kurudi biz ya magari he will have to do it the old fashioned way of which hana capital obviously.

Kairu ni kumbaff juu biashara yake ilikuwa inategemea trust and his reputation. The typical car dealer huwekelea millions analeta gari kwa yard. Huyu jamaa alikuwa anauza gari ikuwa Japan so ha-risk pesa yake. Tamaa imemmalizia hustle safi sana. Now his brand is worthless na hakuna mtu atarisk kumpea pesa amletee gari tena. Maybe atafute capital kubwa sana sasa ainvest kwa yard like other businessmen na aoperate in the shadows juu ashaharibu jina yake personally.

Imagine msee anakojolea a multimillion business yenye hahitaji kuwekelea doh yake…that boy has screwed up big time.

Yeah he had a good business model kabisa…i think he got carried away by social media and fame…then aka set illusion of a young selfmade millionaire…add that to Instagram models wanting a share of his success …its not easy to maintain a fast life. Jamaa angeendelea na hussle yake safi ya car adverts but the moment alianza ku trend na hao makuro wa IG ndio alitupa mbao…he had trust of the big moneys…not typical probox n kadudu clientele

I can guess exactly what happened. Alitumia pesa hakuwa anafaa kutumia so he found himself robbing Peter to pay Paul. Halafu anajiconsole that as long as new customers give him money, he can pay the old customers with the new money. Shida hukam when there are no more new customers to fill the hole.

Ni Ponzi Scheme… inflow ikikatika to offset outflow wewe kwisha…i think article says alilipwa doh yote then deal went bad n he couldn’t refund full amount… that means he used the money for other purposes.

Its not exactly a ponzi scheme. Its just poor cashflow management. Ukikula pesa mingi kuliko profit yako inevitably biz itaanguka.

For example, akiwa na order ya cars worth 20M na profit yake hapo ni 2M, but achune 5M, obviously kuna customer ataumia hatapata gari yake. His only way out ni kupata orders mpya za 30M ndivyo atumie his 3M profit to plug that hole. This can work when the biz is doing well and I suspect it has worked for Kairu before. Shida huingia when he can no longer sell new cars to pay old debts with his profit.

I get what you’re saying… hapo ame tarnish brand yake…nimeona online wasee waki sympathize na yeye ati oooh sometimes business goes bad… :green_emoji: tutaona vile atajitetea

Maybe ule dame wake wa kwanza alijua Kairu anachuna pesa ya customers akajitoa kabla kuharibike. Kijana aliamua kuflex na high maintenance hoes, jet rides, na exotic cars sasa majuto ni mjukuu.

The guy doesn’t know how lucky he was to have people trusting him with millions of shillings. Ordinarily dealers huwekelea kama 50M kuanzisha car yard na yeye hakutumia pesa ya maana juu people trusted him.

What if he rebrands?

I believe that Kairo is smart. He will reinvent himself.

Assuming that he doesn’t get jailed or completely broke from this mess, he can still continue selling cars to his large following. The only drawback is that he might have to work as a local car broker instead of an importer if he doesn’t have enough money to start his own dealership. Its going to be hard to continue importing vehicles for people but I think he can still sell locally. People might continue buying vehicles from him but only cars they can drive off with after the transaction.

Penye amefika it will be very difficult for him to work as a local broker. His local competitors obviously have no love for him, then he has really trashed people out here. If he works as a broker he will not stomach the humiliation. Atatorokea kwa mama yake U.S.A huko he can work as a car salesman or anything without the stigma that may haunt him in Kenya

Banae he had the opportunity to be the biggest car seller in Kenya, especially with his website. Jamaa amefumbles mbaya sana. The pressure to impress IG kungurus has finished him
