How much do these billboards cost in an approximate figure If i construct it?
Let’s say the size is 10mtr by 5mtr (w by h). What cost would this be? In a town area to be specific.
And what about the advertising prices? How do you give the price as per the size?
Lastly, what are the government charges?

Both the structure and message
structures you’ll need to;
-talk to structural engineers for a BQ
-pay for wayleaves as necessary
-find out county government annual charges
-CAK licence
-NEMA approvals
-fix pesky environmentalists
message posting you’ll have to talk to the outdoor advertising companies - what i know is that they never turn away money and you’ll agree on;
-message production
-siting and
-duration of display…
all these are dependent on target audience and season eg it would be foolish to post a billboard for Arimis (for milking cows!) in the city when target farmers are in the countryside…hope you get the drift…

Is it free standing or mounted onto the side of a building? If its the former, you need a structural engineer to design the foundation and pole structure. Why design, you will ask, its coz. soils and wind speeds are different in different areas and kanju won’t let you build a an undocumented billboard (haya nimemaliza kutafuta unga)
Now if its for the ones mounted on the side of a building, engage anybody in the building construction industry akupatie quote. Hapa tu ni hizo steel sections na rawl bolts na bei ya labour

Starting an ad agency must be capital intensive.
There is an association headed by former mp check on spelman and walkers,they used to be at nairobi cinema. Hope they are still there.
The company that builds for Magnate do it for about 1.2M, it’s called David Engineering. Magnate charge about 45K for printing and 140K PM. That was about 3 years ago, charges might have changed

My advise would be first perfect on inquiry on the materials, equipments for professional billboards advertisement then you progress upwards as you have a solid client base, you can then start putting up structure
If you are interested I can direct you to several companies in China who sell these products, you can start small with a cargo load of less than 4 cbm, packaging of these products are in terms of rolls
