Back in primary school, class eight boys did not want to carry lunch to school so that we don’t appear like sissies. So my friend and I decided to carry food but give it to a class four boy to keep for us alafu saa saba tuende tukule. We agreed to start the following day. Come morning we took the packed lunch to the young lad and went to class. At one, I looked for my friend tuende tukale, he told me, you just go coz am not feeling very well so I will not eat today. Off I went in search of the young boy, kufika kakaniambia your friend came and ate all the food during the 10 o’clock break.
I went back to the playground and my friend was being collected on the ground.

When I was in college, I dated this girl for two semesters. I had a side hustle so I was making some cash, not much but enough for me to rent a single room outside campus and afford a ka-quota twice a week. That was a big achievement as a student. The biggest betrayal came when I realized that my so called girlfriend used to lend money to another classmate who she used to sleep with - money I sacrificed to treat her well. I would give her like 100 bob or 200 for credit etc, then she would lend the nigga. I then saw some texts on her phone from the nigga all ending is “dear” nikajua nachezwa. Obviously, that relationship died a sudden death.
