Alaska hakuna baridi! Ok it’s cold but you don’t feel it because there’s 0%moisture. Cold moisture is what makes people sense cold. It could be minus 30 degrees outside and you feel just okay wearing a T shirt. The problem they face is dry frostbite, if you can’t feel the cold you may be tempted not to protect yourself until your fingers, toes and nose falls off!
Trained there miezi tatu so naifahamu. Najua Great Lakes ni colder, lakini cold ya Alaska combined with looong days/nights. Utajuta.
Then kutoka huko tuliangushwa Arizona.
Utatualika kwenu nikatembelee Phipps? (Gashwin place)

Respect! Thanks for your service.
My friend tunafanya naye night shift hunipa story za Alaska when she was stationed there, hadi I feel like I know the place too well.
I really wanna lie on the snow at night and the watch the Northern Lights flickering above.
In the summer time there’s only 1–2 hours of darkness so she tells me it would be 1am and she’s outside doing her gardening.
Wanderlust manenos…sigh
Thanks, @Purple . I miss snow now, but last winter niliona mambo. Summer tires in Midwest foot inch snow. Whueh!
