My high school teacher told us BCom is a general degree and not worth the time. We disagreed kabisa because those of us doing Econ were awed by the name BCom. He insisted that BCom is at the same level as BA but BA had an edge because it made you flexible while BCom boxed you into nothingness; he preferred a BA (Econ). Well now I agree with him, BCom ni bure, you get out and start competing with watu wa CPA stage one. All both of you know is how to write receipts, take stock and write a balanced sheet.
