The teams are ranked according to win percentage (the third column named PCT) eg Goldenstate Warriors have won 67 out of 82 games, which is 0.817. The best 8 teams in each conference proceed to the playoffs

That makes sense. So I guess it doesn’t matter if you win 150-80 or 60-20
