Last I checked, neither the actions nor the teachings of Jesus indicate that he was a violent man nor did he ever advocate violence ,nor did his disciples ever support violence except in self defense.
Mohammed is the one who gave specific instructions like ‘Strike Terror into the Hearts of the Unbelievers’ in the Quran. In fact, if I remember clearly Quran 2:216 goes like Fighting is good for you, even if you dislike it, but Allah knows better and you do not.
And you all ask why ISIS gains legitemacy from the Quran??? Jesus most violent act was to chase merchants from a temple, which he did not even use a lethal weapon.

Of all the founders of the major religions on this planet, be it Jesus,Buddha, Confucious,Zoaraster, Guru Nanak ,the Vedic writers etc.Only one launched his based purely on violence and subjugation of others.
The man in Charlottesville was not doing his actions in the name of Jesus, he was doing it in the name of Nazism, which last I checked, was responsible for the killing of 11 million Christians in Europe, the gassing of Catholic priests in Poland and the grabbing of Lutheran institutions in Northern Germany.
A Christian claiming to commit an act of terror in the name of Jesus, as well as a Buddhist doing the same is doing the very opposite of what the founders of their religion taught and did. The same cannot be said for Islam’s founder and his teachings.
