Happy new year talkers, am glad that you all crossed over to 2016 safely. Yours trully is safe and settled in this foreign land. Here food is in plenty and I am sure I’ll give @kush yule mnono a run for his money.
Do a story on how you got there + the job. a lot of guys here would appreciate
How sure are you about this? Some talkers may not have made it. And there are strange ones like this one, I had never noticed the handle before but it was all of a sudden liking all my comments on the 2nd till I became suspicious.

Especially seeing that he was here a while ago seeking advice from talkers Advice needed - Business - Kenya Talk
As per your request I will do exactly that.
It may sound like a joke but it all started inside this kijiji. While going through threads on ktalk sometime back, I came across this listing by @mayekeke , kush yule mnono... - General - Kenya Talk and it got me thinking. How about trying it out just out of boredom. So I googled PAE and found their website. Went through the page and under the career section found a vacancy for a service desk clerk.
I went ahead and registered as it is a requirement before applying. Went through the online job application crap and forgot about it all together.
A month later I get an email inviting me for an interview for a purchasing clerk position. I posted a thread here seeking advice, Mawaidha Tafasali - Business - Kenya Talk . I did the interview and got a positive response within the same week. Went through the paper work and good conduct stuff. There was also a background check (MRPT) that I had to undergo. I understand it takes time before the final clearance is acquired because they have to do a thorough check on someone before being employed. Btw hapa hakuna kuweka uwongo kwa CV. I got an interim clearance awaiting the final one. The interim one is good for now. After the clearance I underwent drug and medical tests and mailed the results back to them.
At the beginning of December I got an email with my air tickets and a copy of the visa confirmation letter. This called for celebration as illustrated here:- Celebration Time - General - Kenya Talk . Left +254 on the 14 December heading to the unknown.
Life here is not bad as some put it. We live and work in a camp and have a few of the local nationals working with us. Njeve iko hapa about this time plus the rain is my only worry for now. One gets to go for vacation twice in a year, airfare paid by the company.
Hehe … mathighs I know all Ktalkers wako area though I might be wrong.
Yea, nilienda hio direction nyengine
@Bingi doors do open and this one opened wide.
