Babuon was yesterday in Turkana for ‘voter registration awareness’. OK, we all know that wasn’t the real purpose.
Anyway he took with him his time tried and perfected brand of divisive politics of pitting one faction of local leaders against another.
This time round local Turkana youth weren’t amused and violently disrupted the rally. It was only quick action by his security guards who quickly rushed him to his waiting helicopter that saved him from being injured by the angry youth.
