If it goes past 3-4 months, it’s a cold case.
If there’s no evidence, there’s no evidence. Police can’t create such to fit narratives. There’s a few cases that they have done so and you will see the cases falling apart eg Cohen and Jowie.
There’s a documentary series about homicides. It typically takes them 2 weeks to build a case when proof available but obvious, and not complicated. Eg a murder, no cameras but someone saw something. In a case with no witness no cameras and no evidence on crime scene, you are talking 6 months - years.
What is evidence to you? In alot of cases nowadays there are no bodies bcz most murderers believe that without the body then there is no evidence. Actually with everything being so digital, there’s never been an easier time to catch a criminal. Circumstancial evidence is enough to jail someone for first degree murder or capital murder even. Blood was seen by illuminol inside a bedroom in DJ Fatxos apartment. DJ Fatxo was sending photos of Jeff’s face with fresh blood and intact and even though he tried to retract them, DCI is in possession of the same.
3-4 months is nothing, cold cases of over 20 years have been concluded and the perpetrators jailed. You heard of the Delphi Murders a few months ago. That one was 6 years old. There was the one of the Cali City Boys, it took one year and I followed the case from when they went missing until their foster parents were arrested for their murders, no eye witnesses, no cctv, no bodies. Christine Smart went missing 20 years ago. Solved . Jennifer Dulos. No body. Case prosecuted until her exe husband killed himself while out on bail. The problem with our DCI is simply lack of commitment. I can tell you about 15 cases at least. This case would have been a breeze if it was American police or FBI handling it. All the evidence needed is there. From the body to blood splatters inside the house. It’s all there. There is nothing cold about this case.
Cases prosecuted with no bodies, no witnesses and no cameras. It took 14 months for this case, so I don’t know where you are getting your information from but homicide is clearly not your forte. The reason Cohen and Jowie case is falling apart has nothing to do with lack of evidence. It is just lack of commitment bcz no big wig is pushing for justice.
In Kenya, which murder case has been solved that was more than a year old? We are talking about Kenya here aren’t we. Do you have a link of the photos Faxto was sending. Blood was seen by Luminol, but is it the victims blood? Can’t just jump into conclusions.
Its on Nairobian telegram they don’t allow sharing and I am not saving a photo of a dead child in any of my gadgets to show people. There are two photos on with a head that is intact and the one on the ground where his head bust open. First of all am still traumatized to see those photos I wish I had never even seen them. My point is that whether it takes a day or a year Kenyan CIDs are never committed. It’s not that hard to crack most of these cases bcz Kenyans are not the most brilliant murderers. Maybe they don’t watch CSI enough. Either way a murder case takes 7 years even if they caught you red handed killing the person. In US it takes a few weeks from probable cause, to jury selection, to expert witnesses, to victim impact statements and sentencing. The system is really efficient. Btw have you been following the case of a black guy jailed for 30 years who was released from jail for wrongful conviction and might be going back to the can bcz the court won’t hear his case?
I will look for the case of the Black guy. But remember US is US. Their system is designed that way. Believe it or not, even in Italy murder cases take 4-5 years to complete once the court process begins. Also in cases with public outcry, DCI feel pressure to solve. Because their heads’ face transfers if they don’t calm the public.
I am curious to see the post Mortem results once they exhume him. If he had really high alcohol levels (0.02% and above), I will tilt towards accidental death. If his alcohol levels are around 0.01% ( a little tipsy), then I will take your theory on a homicide.
Even if he had 100% alcohol blood level the window was too small. Further I doubt alcohol can be found in the system more than a month later in a grave. They probably want to check the bones of the shoulders bcz the only way for him to fit through the window is if they broke his shoulders.
But won’t the fall break those bones anyway? I have no proof but always felt he dropped off the roof. Blood alcohol may be determined because they check it from organ samples, not blood.
The roof top was locked. There is a difference between bones broken using an object and those sustained during a fall. If you watch the fall video he fell head first.
Are these toxicology reports not limited by time. Like someone who is buried for over a month? When alive blood alcohol levels fall pretty fast how about when you are dead and your body is not preserved?
Yes the tests are limited by time. But I found instances where they have exhumed bodies and tested with success. However who knows what DCI will do ( request).
