Up until a few weeks ago, nobody had heard of Azziad.
There is no denying that many of us only heard of the song from TikTok “forwards”. So, granted she made the song popular because some of us, for example, ingekua tu ngumu sana kupatana na song ya Femi One.
Having said that, Azziad was not commissioned, requested, contracted or in any way obliged by Femi One to “perform” her song. She deserves nadda from Femi One!! If anything, she used Femi One’s song without a Copyright license… Her only saving grace is that she did not claim to own the song and only used a small portion of it and can therefore claim “fair usage”.
