Avocado Farming

I am thinking of doing avocado Farming.
Has anyone here done it. Want to know how much it costs, most efficient farm size, potential revenues and potential pitfalls.

Sahau avocado.if u have idle 5 acres in south rift or central(esp with good red soil & rainfall),plant purple tea & after two years find trustworthy reliable workers & u eat monthly cash & bonuses every year.

There are many ktda factories & purple tea fetch good farm gate prices.Good long term investment

if at all you have land the cost of planting iko low.a quality seedling from jkuat enterprises goes for 150 .i have about 150 trees planted at different intervals coz nilikuwa nazichukua kama kumi time natravel home from jkuat coz i was studying there.for the last two years i have earned 60k plus coz a single fruit goes for 15 bob.this year I’ll be expecting more coz hata those ones that hadn’t flowered zimeanza.
its a good investment coz hata hakuna kampuni italipa such dividends plus hukalishi mti ikue you can be doing other things

Won’t it be another quail manenos? I noticed many Chinese are venturing into farming, they farming weird stuff, waiting to see if they will go into contract farming

What other things?

More armchair farming. This thing has been hype from the start. My brother has 4 acres of purple tea but bei being offered by all factories around ni same na ya green tea. They also don’t spread out as much so yields are less

Exactly! Avocados are a side hustle. Plant Hass at different intervals and do other stuff in the meantime.

When the season begins reap and enjoy. End of the season prune the unproductive branches and wait for the next season

Try quick horticultural crops like dhania, sukuma na lettuce.

These ones require Care but they sell vizuri vizuri. But don’t rely on these things as primary source of income unless unaishi ocha
