I hate being put on the spot.
So today I decided to go to church. To thank God for many things amongst them the gift of life, good health, for my parents and siblings.
So i go to this church that I rarely frequent and at the entrance I am asked "wewe ni wa jumuia gani"
Noting that i don’t get what she meant, she says the word in kyuk English “wewe ni wa disthrit gani”
Told her am a visitor and thus being amongst the first to arrive she took me the very front row reserved for the visitors. So I was all alone seated close enough to those at the pulpit.
I could see all of those at the pulpit looking at me weirdly with one very old man "elder" responding to the music nodding his head while looking at me curiously. Now talkers I am not a very people person.I hate being put on the spotlight,I did not want to wait for the moment when they say may all the visitors stand.I have waited for the praise and worship time when everyone was enjoying the music and have walked out.
Am not proud of it but I told the old usher am comfortable at the back but she could hear none of it.
And that is how I ended up not achieving my objective.
I will stick.to Catholic who don’t do some of these surprises.
I also don’t like sitting at the front, and I never move from the seat I have chosen, you can all move all you want but I remain where I sat first (I know most of you will call me hard headed and condemn me to hell)
The other day the usher insisted I move and I told him he does that again and am walking.

:D:DI hear you, wish ushers could let people sit wherever they want. Btw si ulikuwa na dame flani … you used to talk about her and her mum daily. I recall you were planning a wedding, what happened?
