As we cheer as the sons of Abraham go for each other's gonads let us consider this

They are both friends of Kenya. Yes even Iran for those who doubt. Persians have invested in Kenya just as Israelis have. More imporantly they help secures us by sharing intel. Iran has on a couple of occasions warned Kenya of AlShabaab attacks. There was one, I can’t recall which where Iran gave a more accurate intel but Kenya downplayed it and took the blurry intel given by US and UK.

Iranians own the Village Market while Israelis own Westgate Mall. So we should be nice to both.

I thought Iran is a sanctioned country. How are you able to do business with them?

Because you are fool who thinks sanctions work as long as there is a demand for a product and money to be made free market will do it’s magic.

Sanctions are mainly focussed on weapons and major economy earners like oil.

Wajameni, hasira ni za nini? I was in the banking industry and doing business with sanctioned individuals, especially Iranians, was highly prohibited. In fact, we did a mandatory training on it.

Kenya has not sanctioned Iran

In writing but not in practice. Poor countries like Kenya whose trade with a sanctioned country have no significant impact can trade

Iranians are Persians and not Arabs. They are not even related. Their stupid decision was just to become Muslims.

Very true. The persians and turks, who are actually not arabs made a big mistake to embrace islam, the religion of arabs. They would be super powers by now. Turkey is not as bad as they have tried to be secular keeping religion out of governance but Iran has regressed after becoming an islamic state where the religious leaders run the country.

Centuries before embracing Islam, the Persian Empire, also known as the Achaemenid Empire, was a large and powerful empire that originated in modern-day Iran. It emerged around 550 BC, founded by Cyrus the Great, and became one of the largest empires in history, encompassing vast territories across Asia, Africa, and Europe. The empire eventually fell to Alexander the Great in 331 BC.

For Iran to become great again, the islamists led by ayatollah must go.

One of their kings married the daughter of Aisha, prophet Mohammed’s favourite wife whom he married when she was nine. The prophet didn’t have a male offspring and Aisha wanting to retain the power and influence , and the Persians wanting to expand their influence, had the crown prince marry Aisha’s daughter and claim that the prophet’s position was hereditary. That was the birth of Shiite and later Ismailiya a breakup from Shiite with Aga Khan claiming direct deacendancy from the prophet

Exactly. The Iranians, just like the Turks, are NOT related to Arabs, and their primary languages are Farsi and Turkish respectively.

Yes but US have. If you don’t follow their sanctions there are usually consequences like very big fines.
