A 56 year-old man has been arrested in Florida after DNA link. His van is all covered in GOP posters/stickers. @Purple what you gonna say? Be kind, siulizi kwa umbaya.

Did Trump just suggest the postal bombs are a ‘false flag?’

It’s a conspiracy theory that’s floated around in conservative media almost from the start — the idea that the bombs being sent to Democratic politicians and CNN are either fake or a ruse — and on Friday the president of the United States may have just nodded to it.
In a tweet Friday morning, Trump lamented the shifting focus to the bomb story ahead of the midterm election that is now just 11 days away. And in doing so, he used language that, at the least, casts doubt on the seriousness of the story.

“Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this ‘Bomb’ stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows — news not talking politics,” Trump tweeted. “Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!”
The first striking thing about the tweet is that politicians are being sent bombs — something authorities have labeled as “terrorism” — and the president of the United States appears preoccupied with his party’s electoral fortunes. He seems to be almost pre-blaming a potential GOP loss on the shift in narratives, even as the bombs are still being discovered.
But it also seems entirely possible that Trump, a man who often employs coded appeals to his base and is fond of conspiracy theories, is nodding to a well-established theory on the right that the bombs aren’t what they seem.
Conservatives for days have suggested maybe the bombs aren’t real — Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs tweeted and deleted such an allegation — or that they aren’t actually being sent by a Trump supporter, despite all of the targets being high-profile recipients of Trump’s criticisms. They alleged it may actually be a liberal trying to make Trump supporters look violent and/or change the political subject to Trump’s controversial rhetoric. These “false flag” allegations have been a staple of Infowars and the alt-right for years, but they’ve begun to seep into more mainstream parts of the conservative movement, with occasional prodding and sign-off from Trump.

Trump has repeatedly flirted with false-flag theories, including when it comes to hate speech at Jewish Community Centers, Russian interference in the 2016 election and people who were violent at his 2016 campaign rallies.
And he’s even flirted with “bombs” being used to influence an election. Exactly six years ago, to the day, he put the word “bomb” in quotation marks while referring to a potential move by then-President Obama to shift the tenor of the 2012 election. The similarities are eerie:

Trump, it bears emphasizing, isn’t explicitly casting doubt upon the bombs. He often capitalizes and puts random quotation marks around words just because he wants to highlight them. It’s also possible the quotation marks are meant to note that the bombs haven’t actually exploded — another argument that is floating around in conservative circles.
But even if the more innocent argument is the right one, that’s also diminishing the importance of the attempted terrorist attacks. And against the backdrop of Trump’s constant conspiracy theorizing and his frequent allusions to false flags, the idea that these attempted bombings aren’t what they seem is very much in line with Trump’s usual tenor. And given his proclivity for coded messages to the base draped in plausible deniability, it seems entirely possible he knew exactly what he was doing here.
Nowhere will they call him a terrorist. The hypocrisy of the US government and media is jarring
Hehehe
Trump Dumpster Fire loyalists will never learn. :D:D:D:D
Trump! MAGA! All the way…

That’s a ‘Proud Boys’/Nazi haircut. @Purple must be gushing with overwhelming feelings of ‘patriotism’.
Sayoc, a 56-year old who reportedly has a criminal record, was taken into custody Friday in Florida. He reportedly has an Aventura, Florida address but has ties to New York, where some of the packages were discovered. Photos of a van reportedly belonging to Sayoc show the windows covered in pro-Trump stickers.
Predictably, Drumpf takes credit for the arrest (re: yesterday he was claiming it’s a hoax by Democrats).
I thought you had already concluded that it was the Democrats! I tagged you because I read your thread the other day but I kept ‘quiet’ waiting for more events to unfold, lol.
Hahahahahaha! Are you struggling to lap up your own vomit?
Go slow on her, this is already bad for her; I’m sure she wasn’t expecting this turn of events.
Trump’s and his supporters’ record of incitement are well documented and do not merely include targeting all the recipients of those suspicious bomb packages on his Tweets while routinely using loaded phrases like “fake news” and “the enemy of the people” to describe journalists. During the 2016 election campaign, he encouraged attendees at his rallies to beat up protesters. Last July, he tweeted a mocked-up wrestling video of him body-slamming a man with a CNN logo superimposed across his face. Just last week, he praised Greg Gianforte, a Republican congressman who assaulted a reporter, calling him “my guy." There is simply no precedent for a U.S. President using such inflammatory rhetoric, and launching such personalized attacks, on a nearly daily basis.
Personally, I consider Trump arrogantly inept for the job he’s holding, and if he wants to prove his critics wrong, all he has to do is to stop vilifying journalists or anybody else who criticizes him. This is a tall order for our Talkers who blindly praise his ignorant moves.
I hear you, but everyone has a right to their opinion (though she made me feel a ‘waru’ down my throat the other day. I couldn’t even find words to respond, lol). The other day I was getting coffee at my regular joint. Barely 7 a.m. This older man strikes a conversation, and before I know it, he’s asking me if I’m ‘related’ to Obama, then goes on full throttle ranting about how Obama ‘destroyed the country’. I didn’t even respond after that; I just finished my business and wished him a nice day. I like having lively conversations with strangers in the morning (that’s why my wife can never understand why I don’t carry coffee from home!) but I avoid politics.
si wa confuse washike kale kamidget homosexual hu spam ktalk na ma GIFS kanaishi na wakisii waiziiii hapo NIMESSOTA MASSACHUSETTS
Agreed, but Trump doesn’t have what it takes. Humility, dignity and honor are not in his dictionary.
Akili yako ni meffi sana, hao FAKE moderates unapenda hivo sijui soft speeches akina Obama na Hillary unajua wameua watu wangapi na drones?
Trump vita yake ni twitter. Obama would talk about change during the day, jioni anateremka situation room kulipua waarabu. Don’t be fooled by Obama’s charming smile, sweet voice, and great oratory skills… that is not your fellow black Kenyan, he is an American politician!
A political animal with an agenda. A strategist machine.
These is American politics. Kule ukora yote ilizaliwa. There’s no strategy on this planet that hasn’t been utilized in America’s very long political history.
What the powers that be here in Kenya did to Msando for instance ni vitu zilifanyika America zamani sana sio vitu mpya kwao.
America is one of the oldest democracies if not the oldest. They know and have used and INVENTED every trick in the book. So tukisema hizi pipe bomb ni FALSE FLAG, ukae ukijua this is America we are talking about. Hata Uhuru na Raila huwa wanaendea points huko.
U.S. hadi kuna tumzee strategists kana kuambia we are underdogs but we will win this thing are you ready to win and he is not joking. “If you want to win, then this is the road map.”
A country that has been lead by some of the smartest political minds/thugs in history. Or you think they became a super power by coincidence? You think they dominate the earth’s resources through sheer luck?
For the right kind of money, a politician there can very easily get a motherfucker willing to do jail time. And I’m not saying that that’s what the democrats have done today, but this is American politics we are talking about.
