I’ve always thought that it’s too easy to fool Kenyans and yesterday I set out to prove this theory. I took a few minutes from the low point of my day and wrote a fake article on how a monkey ripped off a man’s penis. Just to make it easy for most of you, I added two links at the bottom that would have automatically told anyone the story was fake. From what I observed, not even one person bothered to investigate the story further and it seems most of you just swallowed that bullpiss. With that simple act, I planted a seed in your brain that there are people in India who are depraved enough to have sex with monkeys for religious purposes. What else do you believe that is just a result of a seed planted in your mind through a lie told many years ago?

I was told this story a long time ago as a true story but having grown up around Kenyans I can’t say for sure whether or not it’s true…
One day a pedestrian was walking along the road when some guys in a pick-up truck happened upon him. Being as magnanimous as only people in the old days were, they decided to offer the guy a lift to where he was going. Unfortunately, there was no space at the front of the pick-up so the guy had to settle for a place in the back where there was also a ram (male sheep) being transported. Having already endured a long walk, the guy was only too happy to accept the offer and soon found a place for himself in the back.

The version i heard was that they were transporting a coffin to a nearby mortuary n ni there was no ram.so when he ‘kamau’ made himself comfortable it began to rain and after a few minutes he thought No there was no need to torture himself so he sought refuge in the empty coffin.it was so comfortable inside that he found himself dozing off.the vehicle suddenly stopped unaware that it was carrying more passengers.The rains continued n kamau was deep asleep.The other passengers saw the coffin and peaked inside and saw the ‘dead body’ inside so shocked were they they couldnt even dare complain about the rain.they kept quiet all along the journey till they reached a bump the driver didnt see,the vehicle was violently jerked and as the passengers tried to compose themselves Kamau opened the lid and asked them “kaì kurathìe atìa hà hà?” The passengers kina ciru,wamary,njoki njuguna mwangi and karanja all dived hit the tarmack and ran as fast as their febble fit could carry them

Hehe, I’ve heard this story too but I think this one originated from a swahili textbook ya kitambo. Sorry for deleting that story. Writing is a feisty art

Actually in Indonesia there are actual reported cases of orangutans being used as sex slaves so that would have been an even easier story to sell. As for consequence, nothing is inconsequential. You just haven’t seen/felt the consequence yet.
