Am walking this path currently, I got too many questions, and nothing makes sense.
one lecturer once asked us the more education you get do you become more religious or less religious and why
it was an assignment.we ended up atheists after the assignement.
The status quo has exchanged a million years of an African origin and heritage for only 2000 or 500 years of Christianity/Islam. It is simply a bad deal.

I am a christian. Its the religion that I was brought up on. I started as a Catholic, defected to Gospel, got saved, stopped going to church all together but I am now back to Catholic. It doesnt mean that I dont respect the other religions. I believe in God as a higher power and I have experiences that can not be explained. Nevertheless, I have so many questions regarding the teachings of the holy books. I personally believe, say, the bible contains stories of that era and as such its “history” that we can relate to. I have a relation with my god and I think everyone should be given a chance to explore the questions and come to their own conclusions about God without being bible bashed. I read The God Delusion and it completely threw me but I still believe that their is a GOD.
