Are we still in competition with them?

Ethiopian Airlines is set to receive the first of the 14 ordered Airbus A350 XWB (extra wide body) next month in June. The aircraft uses 25% less fuel compared with existing aircraft in this size category. At the same time, Ethiopian Airlines will begin direct flights to New York also in June.

this guys are on the right track… sisi anything government owned tunaikamua vimeja!

Setting the pace.Kudos to them.I think a little bit of positive dictatorship and firm hand is needed sometimes for some third world countries to move forward especially as regards to development.I always picture this when I see what’s happening in Kenya; 'A leader takes his people where they want to go, but a good leader is the one who takes people where they don’t want to go but ought to be there’.

Mumenikumbusha a certain friend from middle east told me if their company was to invest in East Africa, they would prefer Uganda. Ati Kenya has too much democracy which makes it not business friendly like every 4 years because of elections.

I support KQ through thick and thin. I insist on being booked on KQ whenever our organisation wants to send me somewhere. So I play my part very well. Lakini ukweli lazima usemwe. Kama ni mbaya ni mbaya.

Ile post ya TZ and their buses…watu wako sijui Magufuli, sijui nini. Na mtu hapa tuna gari ya moshI.

Lakini hii gari ya moshi si ni ile mzungu alitujengea 1905!!! There was no improvement for the next 110 years. Is that something to be proud of?

There has been major improvements in Kenya cosmetic developments aside.

Kenya tuko down sio siri

Nobody is disputing that. The topic is KQ. From being the best African carrier about 10 years ago and now???.. By the way Ethiopian launched their equivalent of project mawingu several years ago where they had set visions for the airline in 2025. They achieved all of those goals in 2015 saving them 10 years.

last i heard some 23 ethiopians were salvaged from a truck almost suffocating under bags of gum copal at maua headed for a better life in corrupt .ke…
