There’s a real estate company selling a modern 1 bedroom house in an apartment complex for 2.4M. 5min away from westlands and the express way… Would that be a nice investment if you manage to rent it out? ROI is estimated to be 8yrs according to my calculations. Please advice… I’m willing to top up 1M loan to invest on it…

So for a ROI of 8 years, tenant will pay 25k a month in rent for a 1 bedroom? How many tenants would afford that rent for such a small place? And what if after 1 year Chinese build a place next to yours with the same with a rent of 20k a month.
