I’ve been living in one but I need to switch houses. The one I’m currently living in receives no natural light, is mouldy and uncomfortably humid. I work from home and spend lots of time indoors. I don’t wanna risk developing respiratory problems after living here any longer than I already have (a little over a month). Those are my primary concerns.
I’d also prefer a laid-back place without the bustle and environment of places like Githurai and Kasarani. I’ve lived in both before but then later moved on to Maziwa, Kamiti Road where I presently am (I wouldn’t mind sticking around this place if anyone’s got an offer). I just don’t have time to go house-hunting for now. My budget is 6 to 8K. Would be great if the house has ready internet. Thanks in advance.
Already checked it out and a few others like Property Scout and RentersHub. There were surprisingly very few adverts in places I’d consider decent. Most of the houses posted are in the “hoods” which I’m trying to avoid. Plus, I’m more comfortable taking up residence in a given place by referral or anecdotes.
