Do goat farmers make more money than the middlemen on the supply chain? No

zero grazed goats gazitakuwa obese?

How’s the process so far

So far so good, the demand for milk supercedes production. Am trying to adapt them to semi zero grazing esp the kids (I need a bigger structure)…they walk all day withing the compound then only suckle in the morning and evening. Demand for goats is very high, esp young kids (3 months) due to affordability. I market them through local WhatsApp groups.

There is a vaccine for enterotoxemia, once mother is given it passes to next generation.
Which breed do you keep ?

Is it possible to rear these goats in an enclosure akin to modern dairy farming

Yes, 100%. I started with zero grazing too when housing allowed. Some farmers like Naivas Fresh goat Dairies and Mwihoko Dairy goats Githurai keep 60+ goats fully enclosed.

Its CDT vaccine, I will start using it when I hit 30 goats plus, for now I have to be careful with feeding routine, I keep french alpines only.

Yes.
Most hybrid milk goats are zero grazed.
