I went to the airport in New Delhi, confidently, ready to board my flight back to NBO. Kumbe I was a DAY late. The flight was the day before! The person who printed the ticket for me did not alert me that the dates/times on the ticket were in local time zone! There was not a single KQ flight that night. The security guys just looked at my ticket, smiled (I’m sure I wasn’t the first person to come for a flight a day late :)), and sent me to the KQ office. I called KQ NBO, paid $150 for No Show, and went back to the hotel to sleep (my room was still intact). The following night, I was back at the airport for my flight 4 hours to time.

Juzi, I missed a flight from Entebbe to NBO. I had checked in and was at the waiting lounge. I waited for them to announce on the loudspeakers that Flight KQ413 to NBO was boarding. I waited and waited. Nothing. It was that time when KQ was having serious delays. I finally walked to the gate written on my ticket to enquire. I asked and M7’s relative pointed at a dot in the sky and said, “Ssebo, that is your plane in the sky.” They couldn’t believe that I missed a flight while I was sitting a couple of meters away. I told them they didn’t announce the flight, wakaruka. Another $150 for No Show. Booked the late night flight. Instead of getting to NBO at 8pm, I got home at midnight.
KQ should give me a job on the board of directors. I’ve paid too many fines.

Long time ago when i was still hustling, I booked a 7am Modern Coast bus to Kampala UG. I was staying in Umoja1 estate so I decided to buy my buddies a couple of KC mizingas that evening, since I’ll be away for some time.

Kufika next day alikuwa na domestic comnecting flight wanamshow hawatambui no show lazima abook afresh. Nikahustle 30k+ nikamuwekea kwa acc akalipa one way.
That same week nikasimamishwa job ile madharau na mjinga hakuwa amenilipa 2months (kuna pesa amekatalia hadi leo)
