android virus

My tablet (samsung) has been infected by a virus that appears as a pop up message about an app that I have downloaded and not installed. Onselecting the install option, the pop up message dissappears and this changes my APN settings thus disabling my internet connection. It’s really irritating since this can occur after every two minutes when am connected to the Internet and it keeps disabling my connection. Also there is an app ‘Game_2048’ that just appeared on my menu and I cannot unistall it since it behaves like a system app.Anyone with a solution please help.Attached is a screenshot of the pop up message

Iyo imejiweka kama system admin. Enda settings uitoe then unistall kawaida

If it’s an anti-virus app producing the pop up, uninstall it. Or root the device and uninstall the stubborn app. Had you really downloaded the app? There exists nagging apps that download other apps without your consent.

Nilisema hapa juzi that adwares will become a problem…
Enda settings-apps-all na uangalie zile apps zinakaa weird

Explain how to do that please.
How does someone remove an app from system admin?

The only weird app is an app called ‘game_2048’ and I cannot uninstall it

Settings-security-device admin

Thanks a lot… already uninstalled the damn app.

hiyo virus pengine u i freeze kama uko rooted ama kama unaelewa hii maneno u install a fresh Rom
thats the only resolution

Download 360 Mobile Safe [rooted]…hii app inaweza ku uninstall mpaka the core apps. I remember an adware ilijificha as a core app. Everytime inapop up as a gift icon kwa android yangu na haionekani kwa running apps. I had to delete it the hard way. But take care hio sehemu, inaweza kuspoil ur device forever.

I suspect that my HTC android phone has been infected by adware named as webdiscover which triggers pop-ups. I found a page saying the adware can track victims’ information on the PC. So it will do the same thing on smartphone? I tried to find out the webdiscover apk files but I came up with nothing.

Try rooting and uninstalling it. Or look for other ways of dealing with it from HTC forums.

I recently came across Vodafone Neon full of porn apps that have actually turned themselves into system apps.I managed to root it and unistalled them but immediately after rebooting they appear back.

Very tricky and stubborn apps nowadays. Maybe there’s some app which is reinstalling them.

Umejaribu ku wipe cache partion?

Even hard resetting a thousand times. And something funny if I go to system/app.or system/priv.apps They are not present.and the kafon is extremely slow
