Months ago i bragged about buying a Skyworth smart tv here (a peasant thing). Now 5 months later it has developed a problem. It freezes at start up. sometimes it manages to fully boot but freezes or shutsdown after 3 mins. i need serious help @Deorro what might be the problem. anyone?

The warranty should still be active…right?
My TV broke down & I G4S’d the selling company for repairs under warranty. 3 weeks on, and they stopped picking my calls. Kenyan sellers ni meffi sana in honoring warranty provisions

Have you tried reseting? Don’t ask me how…
I did a factory reset, the problem still persisted.

It’s better to buy a non smart high quality 4k quality digital tv from superior brands like lg, sony, Samsung etc and then import a chinku android box from aliexpress that supports 4K at a cost of around $60.

Wrap your telly, don’t take it to the shop take it to the company handling their support, the warranty is there to put your mind to rest. It needs a firmware reflashing. If it doesn’t solve the problem, i know they will replace your MB. hoping you haven’t decided to open and be a techy macho guy.
