Android 10 is shit

I am on Nokia as well, which I bought out of nostalgia in Feb, it came with Android 9. I had been resisting the update Hadi the phone became too sluggish end of June… So I decided heck, lemme upgrade…
And that my fren was the beginning of problems… First the thing overheating you could fry an egg on it, then draining battery in less than 2hrs. Third you can’t even charge while using, it still drains the bat. And then the mother of them all, the freezes began right after the Nokia logo… Several factory resets later I discovered to remove the security pin before boot up helps with the freezes… But for it to charge it still has to switched off…
These problems weren’t there before Android 10… Scouring the internet I discover the long nights Android 10owners have had, I thought it could be a Nokia thing kumbe Pixel pia, One plus same shiet, Samsung vile vile… It’s a very problematic release…

And to make matters worse, they don’t even have a way to root it so that you can I stall custom ROM

That’s good to hear, I like it’s many flexible ways of tweaking stuff, but don’t be fooled… You Berra keep your backups uptodate… And be very alert on updates…

My phone came with Android 9 and I upgraded to Android 10 in April this year and so far I haven’t encountered any issues. Actually, I can only talk of improvements such as better fingerprint recognition and battery life

Boss wewe ulipata update ina bugs banae. Mimi I can never complain. Phone is good. Doesnt hang. Mimi sijui but the user experience on my Nokia is top notch.

I was one of the first advocate for Nokias. Until build quality became an issue. Buttons falling off, screen issues, battery degrading very fast and GPS loosing signal. HMD doesn’t feel like Nokia. But labda wamebadilika lakini software wako chonjo… What’s your experience Tall Mnyambo?

Nani mwingine apk haziinstall na Wifi transfer e.g xender etc, haziwork?

Wahenga wa online wanadai, ukipiga hiyo upgrade, simu pia upigishe factory reset you start afresh with all apps… I would strongly suggest utoe ile security PIN ya boot up screen just in case it starts hanging at the boot up screen…

The android version is ok. Wengine tumeitumia kwa muda sasa (since Jan 2020) and still going strong with feature updates

Ndio nashangaa,unless anatumia Gionee ama Umdigi phones. Yangu nimetumia since september when it launched

My experience is good brother. Siezi complain. And Nokia btw sends monthly google security patches. Kama On Saturday nilipata security patch ya July. The battery life is actually good. On moderate use I can use the phone for 3 days. On heavy usage I can use it for 10 hours straight. Sioni shida. Ni camera tu pekee but then its a low budget device which is expected.

May be it’s an issue with your device. I’m on a low budget device, KB8, and the update from 9 to 10 seems to be just fine.

Sijawai replace screen coz my phone always has a screen protector and silicone back cover (both go for a total of about 2k). This ensures minimum impact in case the phone drops.
