Food is grossly overpriced for just regular choma or karanga, mediocre service. Patronized once or twice, will never do it again. Waste of money. Rather do Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn Steak House. Their cuts of meat taste better for less.
Rather do Ethiopian with their injera or Fogo Brazilian and eat all the meat you want for that same price to one’s satisfaction.

Swahili Village are overpriced on most items. This dude is lucky to visit on a Sunday when (most) parking is free, otherwise he could’ve paid $15 to $20 for parking in DC.
For meat lovers, Brazilian restaurants are definitely better. Fogo de Chao for sure. There’s a Fogo Gaucho in Westlands, reasonably priced and they have a great selection of meats/fish, including crocodile meat.
