The US is the biggest threat to human advancement and human civilisation. Whenever they see anyone making something better than them they ban the products. Juzi they banned DJI drones because american companies couldnt compete. They banned Huawei because they couldnt beat its 5G tech. They banned kaspersky avtivirus software because it was popular and not american made. They have imposed heavy tariffs on chinese electric vehicles because they are better than US made ones. Hata juzi they had banned tiktok because it was popular than made US social media. Sasa naona they have banned chinese routers.
Kwa hivyo hii wivu ya US is what will hold humanity back. They should instead be supporting advancements in tech irrespective of whoever develops it coz at the end of the day all humans benefit.
I am not a fan of the US but I came to realize that china puts unwanted telemetry into their devices to collect at least some usage data (or much more, who knows) from the devices they manufacture. That is alright from an engineering stand but I can see why the US does not like that so they end up banning Chinese devices.
As for anything engineered in the US, they have audits and data laws, and it can be said that the data is stored somewhere in the US under US regulations and it not being sent away to a hostile nation (China), so that they can live with.
So the bans make sense, somehow.
Japan doesn’t have to ban anything Chinese. They just maintain higher standards mnunue ama mkae.
