All Rise: President Odunga Is In The House!!

The High Court has jailed Interior PS Karanja Kibicho for three months for defying courts orders.

Justice George Odunga directed IG Joseph Boinnet to immediately arrest Kibicho and send him to prison to serve the sentence.

Kibicho defied orders requiring him to pay torture victim Michael Mahugu Sh2.6 million.

He had been ordered to appear before the judge on Monday but his lawyer said he was held up in a meeting.

The judge ordered an appearance on Tuesday but he also failed to honour this, prompting the ruling.

Kibicho was summoned over his failure to obey previous orders.

Odunga had ordered the Inspector General to personally execute a warrant for his arrest.

He said the OCPD at Central police failed to apprehend Kibicho as ordered on October 13. Both Boinnet and OCPD are Kibicho’s juniors in the Interior ministry.

This was after Kibicho failed to obey an order issued on December 5, 2015 requiring him to pay Sh2,647,019 to a Nyayo House torture victim.

On Friday, the Mombasa High Court ordered the arrest and prosecution of Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery for the destruction of a yacht used to traffic heroin worth more than Sh20 million.

Chief magistrate Julius Nang’ea asked the DPP to prosecute Nkaissery and four other senior government officials for blowing up the crucial exhibit without court orders.

“This is a serious case. The ship was an exhibit that was in the custody of the court but it was blown up,” he said on Friday.

It is not smart for the PS to evade court appearances, but I also think that it is not wise for the judge to try and enforce a ruling against the state by charging an individual.

Is Boinnet ready to arrest his boss?

Boinnet should be jailed NEXT. When u are ordered to appear before the court, you appear, u don’t start poking your nose with one hand and scratching your ass with the other, while questioning the courts.
On the other hand, if Tobiko fails to prosecute Nkaissery, He should be pressurized to resign.
Tumechoka na hii upuzi ya some pple assuming they are above the Law.

Some people are banging table and pulling their hair

Technically it is the office being arrested

He is just subjecting himself and the courts to ridicule, The other day another one ordered the arrest of Mwathathe, Boinet, Nakaissery, Monica juma and Marwa… I wordered why he skipped Uhuru since he is the one who ordered the yatch and drugs destruction.

It’s all a joke now. We know the system has broken down. They don’t even bother pretending like there laws in this country anymore.
If you are rich and/or connected enough you can disregard the law and the courts and nothing will be done.

Lest we forget, this was a ploy to complicate the case against those that used that yacht to smuggle drugs into Kenya. I will not mention the most likely owner of the contraband.

A sitting president is protected from prosecution while in office. It’s a different matter when he leaves.

So, who will be tasked with the job of arresting IG and the Interior CS?

Is Kibicho above the LAW ? Interesting times I tell u, He can move to a higher court and argue his case.

Nice. I’m starting to respect you. You are sailing against the wind of shiny eyed ones. Chunga usiitwe msaliti to uthamaki

You want to say Joho? Accept a fault to be a fault. Wachanga this utotology called blame games. A wrong is a wrong… start from there. Its childish to fight a ruling by wanting to mention the owner of contraband just to sway the perception of the same. Or you want to say because the judge is an orang-otung/dimmed one? Talk issues brother not events …just immaturity there

you are becoming an extremist…

Why do you like saying what is practically impossible? Who will arrest Kibicho? Do you think the DPP has the guts to prosecute any of the aforementioned? ----------------> pare omera

If no one dares arrest babuon despite repeatedly making outrageous and inciting remarks, what glue are you people sniffing to imagine the police can even contemplate arresting their bosses?

We expect the bosses to turn themselves in without the police coming for them
