It doesn’t even make sense that a student struggles with Engineering, Commerce etc only to be employed at job group “K” just like the teachers. And you expect Kenya to Industrialize with such demoralized Engineers and technicians.

I remember when I joined college for my first year,lecturers were agitating for higher pay among other things. They went on strike. The damn campus was closed for a whole year… Moi alisema hakuna pesa. Wakaona kama ni upus. Chancellor akafunga colle. N that was that. ONE YEAR. When the lecturers finally relented,the deal they wanted was no where in sight when a return to work agreement was signed. Tulisoma the next two years without a break…
