BMW ni money pit. Once people have made real money the go back to toyota land cruiser. Na pia BMW x series are purely for women, mwanaume anajirespect anakaa mbali na io.
Sasa shida ni every other youth group have no other ideas apart from car wash business, because they have minimal operational cost.
Every 20 metres sasa eastlands imekuwa ni car wash. Mtu akipata tu space kadogo gari inatoshea, mbiombio imekuwa carwash. There is serious oversupply which needs to be adrressed.
yeap, it means those that had considerably invested in carwash spots won’t be competitive , these youths are employing themselves, and also not paying much taxes.
@Rene Descartes wrote that he drove it and found its utility ,responsiveness ,off road capabilities and handling are poor on most of our roads .Lecture nyingi kuhusu income bracket na mifuko ya watu ni za nini ?
Mahali naoshanga gari, there is another car was across the road which is empty but the one I go to is full of cars. Why? The car was I go to wameweka a nice chilling place za soicial distancing. Kuna charger za simu as you wait for ur car to be washed. You get a free bottle of water as your car is being washed. They wash quickly and thoroughly na hakuna kungoja queue refu. I think it’s getting to a place in Kenya where simply selling a product or service will not be enough, businesses need to have a strategy that works uniquely for them. Maybe the carwash across the road wanapata gari few na wanalipisha pesa mob so it works for them.
Ni za wenye wanaita luxury vehicle money pit. Why do people find it so hard to accept that the vehicle is not meant for their income level? They blame the car instead of their pockets.
If you drive a german machine, and can’t afford to service and maintain it without bit.ching online, it is evident that you are a peasant from the target market’s perspective. Peasant is a relative term, and everyone is a peasant from a better man’s perspective. No amount of sugarcoating can change reality, that most scrubs who buy German machines here in Kenya, and then proceed to complain about maintenance costs, are social climbers who shouldn’t be driving those cars but can’t resist driving above their paygrade.
Where did he mention that he found it a money-pit ? He test drove it and only found it good on Thika Road
How can you claim a car to be reliable only if you throw money at it, some people are just idiots. Even huko majuu they do not buy this piece of shit, they lease for a few years as warrant takes care of maintanance and repairs. And even with a warrant it is not advisable to own an old one as it will spend more time in repair shop than serving you.
If people can’t afford to maintain something, they find a way of blaming it. A nigger would rather slit his own throat than admit he can’t afford to maintain a German or UK machine. I know people who have driven German and UK vehicles for 7+ years and live by them. But those people are also wealthy, sio pesa tatu. If you are middle class, stick to your lane and stop blaming vehicles. Toyotas are good cars too. I dont own a German/UK vehicle, but I also don’t blame them. Instead, I recognize that my income is not high enough to maintain one while pursuing other investments. Most people in my situation would rather blame the vehicles instead.
maliyamungu ghasia nyamaza kabisa reliability and maintenance are two different things
Maliyashetani, if you don’t maintain your vehicle, it becomes unreliable. Meffi.
Peasant or no peasant gari inafaa kuwa reliable.
I knew of a very senior corporate chairman mwenye BMW X5 yake ilizima just after Sagana river akitoka funeral upcountry.
Maliza huyo kitambi bunduki
Wueh umemaliza hio ghaseer shieth vibaya…
And for starters bmw is overrated Honda and hyundai are making better cars at a reasonable price range for i buy with my own money car enthusiasts’
I beg to disagree partly with your statement - the part in bold. I agree that there is nothing new under the sun so you might copy or be copied. What makes you different is NOT strategy. It is hard to have a unique strategy that other people with similar businesses don’t have. In other words, you aren’t smarter than the others. What makes the difference in business is LOCATION. A person can copy your business, but he can’t copy your location. I have seen mediocre businesses operate for years, just because they were in a prime location. But I have never seen an outstanding business operate for years in a bad location. A while back, I thought that Indians were gifted in business. I later realized that those guys usually start businesses when well-capitalized and only in prime locations. They aren’t smarter than everyone else, they just hoard good locations for generations.
The question is, why should such an expensive car be so unreliable as to require frequent expensive maintanance as compared to other cheaper cars of similar age. Thats what making people call them money pits. Its simple english really. Anyone would expect an expensive product be it machinery, jewelry or fabric to be of good quality and last long. Hii upuzi ya lanes unashinda ukiimba shows how poor your comprehension of issues is.
When the germans are designing and selling luxury vehicles, their target group are those who walk into the showroom and buy the 2020 BMW or Merc. They also give 3yr/100,000km guarantee so the maintenance cost is zero coz the warranty pays for it. And they expect that after the 3yrs youll update to the new model. Its very embarrassing when you drive to the golf club in your 8yr old “new 2013 mtumba KDA registration German machine” that was a carhire vehicle or taxi for 8yrs n Germany. Real men go to DT Dobie to pick their 2020 customised German machine not jamhuri park used car/junk yard. Luxury items are supposed to be bought new not used. Would you boast about your gikomba Versace shirt?
Shida ya German mashins ni skill level ya mekanika wa huku, some of the beasts uses Fibre for signal transmission or CAN bus for communications, saa hiyo onyii anajua tu tester
