ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES DISTRIBUTOR & WINES AND SPIRITS

Wadau Saidieni na Ideas Priss.
How do i go about starting up this biashara…
what are the profit margins?
Documentation required and how much does it cost ?

kama uko Waitituland forget it. nigutee.

Why do you want to start from the top?

Hehehe vile @fishmonger amesema… Kama ni Kiambu wachana nayo. Do something else.

If it’s not huko here’s what you need… (last I consulted about it)

  1. Liquor license which costs Ksh50,000.
  2. Business License from County Council – Ksh3,500
  3. HealthCertificate – Ksh3,000
  4. Approval by NEMA – Ksh3,000
  5. MCSK License – Ksh3,000

Then rent for your shop.
Possibly salary for the attendant if you won’t be there.
Most importantly source for fairly priced stock. Be careful not to get Kariobangi Light Industries stuff & get shut down.

The margins depends on your market really.

A pal had one in Waitituland (Ruiru), he’d make up to 7k a day. Simply because he’d sell halves, quarters, tots etc… From a Kshs.450 bottle of Kibao (wholesale price), he’d make up to Kshs.700-850

Hii yako ni ya zamani sana.

Bussiness permit 10,000
Health 10,000
Fire 4,500
Liquor license application 6,000
Liquor licence bribe 20,000
Liquor license 50,000
NEMA 3,000
Music (MPAKE)6,000

Waaaaah. Damn!!!

Kuna option ya backdoor!

I wanted to know the pros and cons - so that once the wines and spirits picks up, i can have an idea of how distributorship works

you are very right , ni gutee . wouldnt even dare even to spare a thought.

Ahsante saana mbloo

And the Profit Margins ziko aje ?
how much capital required to anzisha a fully stocked wines and spirit

Rent ni kama how much ?
Salary ya attendant ?
