…the Pharaoh wins elections by 97.04 per cent. Egypt.
An American puppet.
President Sisi is a trained Army general. He has spent all his life since the cadet recruitment as a young man undergoing leadership and discipline training. In the chaos of post Mubarak Egypt, he was the top in leading the country. Congratulations to him.
The only problem I have is that the Egyptian military is a puppet of usa. Armed, trained and staffed by uncle sam yes men more than the interests of Egypt. However President Gen. Sisi has been pragmatic in his leadership to hold the country together, advance its economy and moved the nation forward. His huge win is due to the stability he has established more than anything else. It also helps that the west has funded him whenever needed to keep the economy growing positively. The previous Muslim brotherhood president got the same funding from Qatar instead of washington and was quickly replaced.
More than 1M voters Voted for Liverpool’s Mo Salah…they wrote his name and ticked it on the ballot
He is a darling of Israel.
Hiyo shenzi inaitwa Al Sisi itajua haijui when Ethiopia cuts off the Nile from Egypt.
97% seems to be the trend in Africa
He’s in good company na ganja one.
You can’t build a dam that will forever cut off a river. Eventually the dam will fill up and normal water flow resumes. However for the 3-5 years it will take to fill up the dam, the white Nile wouldn’t flood as much as it does currently. That said Egypt can stop complaining about it now and start better Nile water management within its border. A lot of water is wasted and poor use of the nile water exists in Egypt than all the water dams in the Nile. Some valleys just expect seasonal floods instead of sustainable controlled all year irrigation.
it’s not going to happen in a thousand years. ethiopia is going to dam excess/rainy season flow (that would have flowed to the mediterannean unmolested anyway) and leave the blue nile to flow as normal.
A dam increases the rate of evaporation therefore a considerable % of water will be lost in the air and before you start arguing that it’s a negligible amount kindly know that all the rainfall we experience comes from that evaporation process you are about to dismiss.
Just like the northern tunnel
There is still no dam that has ever halted a river from flowing. All water flows to the sea/ocean despite our efforts. Not even the mega dams in Brazil amazon, China and same case will be realized in Ethiopia. Egypt needs to understand to share that resources than to expect their exclusive use to stay on forever. I have been watching President Sisi statements on the same and I realized he is aware the limitations of their hand in the matter.
:D:D:D:D:Don the mark
so where will the water go after it has evaporated?
I see what you are trying to do but the rain can fall far away from the dam catchment area.
don’t evade, but where if not the highlands of Ethiopia?
He, he, don’t joke, the precipitation might form as far away as the CAR or DRC and the resultant rain water find it’s way to the Atlantic.
he he he…any precipitation in that part of the world belongs either in the nile or congo basin. kubali tu damming will not diminish the nile.
