These drugs should be legalized. Governments have more biting things to address, like real crimes, hunger, poverty, health, etc.

Well as long as you can’t get them without prescription, there will continue to be illegal trade of such drugs. And Can you legalize Heroine without prescription? That is, your kid can buy them from the kiosk.
The problem is not so much legalizing a drug, but more so getting it without a control( prescription). Because, you can get heroine in pharmacies ( or at least its variants).

Subtract time in remand. Although in jail it’s like 1 day in jail is like 4 days in normal life.
They should hang drug dealers like they do in asia.
Hasn’t been a deterrent. In fact demand is higher bcz it pays more in such countries
