Could the after market xenon headlights and other after market mods be the cause of increased cars catching fire on our roads ??

can you first understand how they work and from that deduce how they are causing fires.
you might help reduces the deaths
In about 6 months I have read of 4 incidents of cars catching fire on Thika Rd.
2 on Forest Road.
1 at Safari Park.
1 at Survey.
Whether it’s the cars, the road or both, I can’t fathom.
Its those…small LED fog lights guys install on their cars that are causing a short in the wiring.
