main reason dr miguna went to exile was repeating that moi was a fool because he was not educated enough to lead Kenya. it seems that became his mantra and anytime he engages in debate, the barrister has to dig up an opponent’s academic record. this particular tirade libelously borders on questioning someone’s sexuality. the perennial activist seems to always spoil for a court fight because that’s his stomping ground. anywhere else, this phd holder is mediocre and has utterly no role in Kenyan life. He is a Canadian citizen and only they put him to good use as a twitter buffoon and court jester.
Miguna may be an academically endowed, but he is a political fool. Moi was politically intelligent but not academically adept.
The difference between miguna and moi is that Moi understood his lack of academic credentials. Miguna does not understand his lack of political acumen.

Miguna is one of those people who have been very bright academically since he was a kid. He was probably almost always right when arguing with his peers about something. But the problem with such guys is that their social skills loose out and they generally dont interact with people but talk down to them

I think Miguna is just an insecure prick and like many narcissists he hides behind an exaggerated sense of self importance. Some of the most brilliant minds I’ve met were also the most humble. They didn’t feel the need to tell you they were Dr. or Prof. so and so who had gone to this university or done this and that so you should kiss their feet and worship the ground they walk on. In my experience the academics who are rude, loud, combative and abrasive are usually making up for other shortcomings whether real or imagined.
I seriously think Kenyan gava should relent and allow Miguna back. He loves and misses Kenya, and I feel deep inside he has learnt his lesson that those who play with fire eventually get burned. Baba in the spirit of handcheck could create the county of Nyando and instal Miguna as governor
