The child support is calculated on your active income. If your income gets reduced, so does the support payments. Divorce rates of athletes is no different from a normal man. It’s just that athletes have more money. Most of the time, before they become pros, most of these athletes have kids. Chances of a athlete becoming a pro are very slim. Only One out of tens of thousands makes it. So it’s not like they even know they will become pros when they get kids.
