I have noticed most Africans tend to lose their culture when they choose to practice Islam. Is there a secular African predominantly Muslim country? In Sudan women are whipped for not wearing burkas. In Turkey headscarfs are banned in university. Bonobo tribes that walked the Savannah bare chested are now dressed like Arabs.
Islam is a way of life…sub-culture and traditions is not part of it.
