Gaddaffi was a bad dictator that is why his people removed him. Sankara tried to empower the people that is what democracy is all about not one person making all decisions
The democracy advocated by the west is a fake democracy. Power is too centralised to one person we need people at the local level to have a say on basic things that affect them like security education housing and healthcare
Most countries have local police and judiciary and crime and corruption are low
Someone said when you see a stupid leader, know that the electorate is well represented
