KIKUYU PARENTS
Kikuyu parents should stop cursing and hexing their kids unknowingly.
If you are a Kikuyu woman and you have a son who is undergoing circumcision or has already undergone :
Say goodbye to miniskirts. It’s a taboo for a Kikuyu man to see the thighs of her mother. In Kikuyu this is called " gúcúna múindúri" and it leads to young men sleeping with old women , divorcing their wives and becoming dead beat dads. Scientifically , this is why last borns and boys brought up by single mothers are the worst in marriages
Stop exposing your bras and panties( inner wears ) anyhow e.g hanging them in the clothesline or in the bathroom. It’s a taboo for a Kikuyu man to see the nakedness of his mother. The more your circumcised son sees or comes into contact with inner wears the more he gets cursed/ hexed. In Kikuyu it’s called. Ngeko( kúgekwo atekúmenya).
For those grown up uncles, tell your sister’s boys to stop visiting their mother’s bedroom after they have undergone circumcision.
For grown up Kikuyu women ( nyakinyua) the reason that the boys should stop entering the kitchen after circumcision is to avoid them seeing your nakedness when you are preparing ugali or Múkimo
As the boys undergo circumcision , the mothers and fathers too should undergo transition. The mothers and fathers should take care of their character and habits. The father should not go drinking with the boy as the boy might see his nakedness as they urinate on the roadside and that is how fathers curse their kids unknowingly.
I remember in a boarding school somewhere in meru.I was in form one then a certain mother came to visit his form four son. Then outside we saw them hugging.Ile ya bye. They were kikuyu. It become the talk of the school for some days.It was funny the way guys were cursing at him.
