Advice Required Wazee Wenzangu

Need to come home Kenya. family tayari wameshafika huko . i want to travel for holidays with them but wasiwasi due to any “covid lockdown” that might come into effect (God Frobid) and of it which will make me stranded huko na am supposed to be back @ work on 10th/Jan/2021. if am not able to travel in the coming month, wont be able to come and see family till approx. month of June/July 2021 due to my work rotation schedule. sasa am stranded in my thoughts, missing my kids so much. hata sijui nifanyeje. Alafu vile rona inachukua watu daily na inazidi rising (mombasa), nimekwama sijui nifanye aje. nikichelewa kurudi job itakua noma.
saidieni please and will appreciate it. thanks all.

Kuna vile baba jyaden anaeza weka lockdown balaa hii december so i would suggest utulie tu huko ama uswap days zako za leave na colleague if possible. Familia itaelewa ukikosa kuja but kazi ikiisha ndio utajua hujui

thats wat am thinking but my back to back ni msonjo amekataa we switch from 6weeks on off to 8 weeks on off. i can tulia hapa hapa na nivumilie till come june july ndio nikuje, itabidi bite the bullet which is uchungu lakini kazi kupoteza sitoeza, better nijizuie. thanks a bunch Tom.

Hakuna lockdown inakuja.Kama lockdown haikuwekwa at the beginning of this month when infection rates hit 14%-17% then sioni kama itawekwa. The infection rates seem to have plateaued at 13% and the government has already received Ksh400B from World Bank and IMF for ‘post covid economic recovery and development initiatives’.
The only thing you will have to deal with are the curfews currently from 10pm to 5am and closure of bars at 9pm which are to last until 4th January 2021.Also UAE has suspended travel, transit and tourist visas for peeps from Kenya, you might want to check out how this will impact your travel plans in case you want to fly with wakina Emirates and other airlines which transit Dubai.

Lockdown can come without doubt and if i get stuck, my job is on the line. you can be correct that lockdown haikuji but if, lets say if it comes, i get stuck huko na kazi ndio hio itaenda, nido better i bite the bullet kiuchunguu and see the coming months. My travel itinerary was Aden~Khartum~Addis Ababa~Mombasa. cant risk mkate ya watoto ipotee mzee mwenzangu.

I second this.

I missed this news

Highly doubt we will ever have a lockdown that involves disrupting travel into and out of the country again. It’s pointless anyway since the disease is firmly with us now.
Only “lockdown” we can have is adjusting curfew times which I think would be good for you because it would mean you get to spend more time with family?

Hawana transit visa even in the event of a flight cancelation theres a hotel inside the airport on the ramp side . Day visas are not expensive either sm

Nilishangaa sana leo asubui wakiisema kwa Ghetto radio 7am.Gava inepewa 4b USD which is like 400B Ksh.

But even at the peak of covid during lockdown, international travel and employees working in related industries were operating 24/7.
If I were you I would be worried of a ban on international travel, sio lockdown.

Hakuna kitu kama lockdown. The economy is hurting as it is. Reggae (BBI) cant be stopped again, they really want to get it over with. Like a Talker said hapo juu, the most they can do, since COVID is here with us, is adjust curfew times, Schools/Colleges re-opening and enforce MoH transmission guidelines.
Wewe safiri bana, kuja ujibambe na familia yako before that Corona you’re afraid of, deals with you huko majuu.
