Advice for new ktalkers especially ladies but anyone who values their privacy

Unfortunately there are techies in here who can steal your identity, your photos, your financial records. Your medical records basically everything you have in your devices especially phones and laptops.

I believe that this is the real reason purple left this forum because there is no oath to secrecy even though accessing someone’s data with out their permission is liable to fines of 5M or 5 years in jail as per the cyber crime act.

Of course we know how slowly the wheels of justice turn by then your identity could be used for criminal action your bank accounts could be emptied.

This has been going on as far back as last year, I just suspected something fishy was going on because of some comments that were being made I have all the screenshots to hand over to the cyber crime unit incase anyone’s identity here is used for criminal activities or their intimate photos posted on salivious the police can have an idea on where to start if your money goes missing at least we will have identified one source of the problem which is definitely in the forum.

This forum is no longer safe and it’s just a matter of time before it’s infiltrated by cyber criminals looking for more a good laugh and to feel clever

If you work on sensitive or classified information, you should never access ktalk with your phone, laptop or desktop and don’t check your email while there

Awhile back a big chunk left this forum due to tyranny and double standards. Some members can do just about anything sometimes with full knowledge of the Admin and he or she will look the other way

During this electioneering period all blogs and Kenyan online communities will be monitored for hate speech and inciteful and inflammatory statements. Even if you are out of the country don’t feel that you can say anything, eventually the buck will stop at the admin

If you pay for anything online and ktalk is on whichever gadget you are using stop I’m not saying your money will be stolen I’m just saying that there is a serious breach of privacy on ktalk so try to not to end up a victim

Don’t take intimate photos or have any confidential information you would not like publicized bcz Admin won’t help you once your nudes are stolen from your phone and even sold to whomever or groups. We have people here with no scruples they will steal your money if they can and worse

The irony is that you bullied @Introvert out of this site by doing exactly what you have posted up there.

Truly shocking…hope nothing bad happened to you but with the net nowadays I know anything is possible…thanks for the big up

I know you are this cyber terror group. Introvert was the biggest bully here, he even made a cartoon of mimi humwaga ndani, me and so many.

I want you to quote one instant not two where I cyberbullied @Introvert

As for you, you went and picked some stuff from twitter to say its my handle. How petty can a grown ass beard name it get. I am yet to see another childish man than you. Please style up and adress issues instead of always making personal attacks.

Another who made me aware of your identity theft clique is @Tom Bayeye .Mubaba ako na watoto Sita, ever on ktalk, ever new post within 2 seconds amejibu it’s like he doesn’t have a life. So this place has become of frustrated men looking for an outlet for their frustration coz why is he replying every post, anyway all ama say is this one day a Judas Iscariot in your group of web sleuths will steal more than just photos and documents he will just syphon cash and lemme tell you, jails are full and DCI will pick them all Judas and the others. You think you are a beast, River Tala. This is the wrong time to be a criminal bcz make no mistake what you people are doing is already a criminal offence let alone when you will find the way to get the money which is what you are all after.

Purple saw you mining peoples data aka delete everything associated with her. What would make a whole Admin take such drastic action bcz she realized she’s dealing with thugs and she could be the next victim mumwibie. Too late now. Make a move and syphon the money of any member. River yala

This is laughable, KTalk is a low life anonymous forums that we come to rant, cuss, berate and refill our dopamine levels before we move on with sth serious. I can assure y’all nobody is interested in y’all sordid lifestyles.

:D:D:Dapo Kwa low life

“So this place has become of frustrated men looking for an outlet for their frustration”

so true! there are some cool people here though

Upus. Kendi dinywa sana

You’re giving this shithole way too much credit, but I agree there are some petty thugs here so watu wazingatie

She needs to have her head checked…we have been making fun of her and her 10plus threads per day that nobody even cares about but it seems she hit rock bottom long time ago though she won’t stop digging.

You tell yourself whatever helps you sleep at night. But I am assuring you as a victim who has enough evidence for the cyber crime unit to warrant an investigation and even join the site the comments and monitoring the activities. A few weeks back I was at a salon. I took photos on my phone which I did not post on FB I sent them to my mom via WhatsApp which is end to end encrypted. Later that day a new talker wrote that he’d pay me to touch my hair, this was less than an hour after I took the photo. I did not mention anything about being in a salon. I don’t think I had even commented that day. I have all the screen shots but Admin blocked me from attaching anything I can’t put the photos which were on my phone and the comment from a relatively new member.

The next was about a year back where some guy an older member commented about my finances. I won’t go to the detail but I have the screen shots.

The next one was about my medical records which are on my phone. Get well soon, you will be OK, this is why you are getting sick. I have never at any point told anyone I was sick but on the exact day I went to hospital some one is telling me I will be OK.

That no good demon Tom Bayeye you wonder when he even spends time with his family since he replies all posts made a comment about my body which there is no way he’d have known if he had not seen a recent photo of mine. Since this group of cyber terrorists raided my face book account and took all the photos I don’t post there. I rarely send people my photos, so it’s not rocket science these blabber mouths got the photos from my cell phone.

What would have happened if bcz I’m on a weight loss journey I had decided to take nude photos for before and after. Just for myself or even in a bra and panty.

Those denying this are part of the syndicate and this is why even Admin is very quiet because he knows it’s the truth from reading people’s inbox and deleting some stuff in people’s conversations in inbox. I ended up deleting everything in my inbox
Now you people are stealing info and photos from people’s cell phones. Which is a criminal offence because people do mobile banking and pay online using their visa cards on their phones. They could be having some highly confidential info. Sex talks with their partners. I have done business with a guy here that required highly classified info and I have never heard anything about it here.

I have been a victim. Maybe they are really idle so they are like today let’s steal Jimits info so they acess the phone he uses to log into ktalk and they steal his photos acess everything on the phone.

For me as long as you don’t steal my money, enjoy the photos. I don’t care bcz my life is just continuing well as it always has. I don’t care, you don’t feed or house me, what you think or know is of no consequence in my life. I am the boss lady bcz it’s you talking about me it’s you stealing my photos it’s you trying to steal my identity bcz well I am superior to you. Can Unye start hacking murkomens phone of course not bcz he’s a nobody and he has better things to think about.

If you have ever noticed how I move in this forum I never focus on individuals, like because I hate someone for whatever reasons I follow you from pillar to post insulting you and I have never made a post about anyone. Like let’s discuss this person if I have issues with you I block you. I did not come here to argue with some nobodies who I don’t know from a can of milk and can not help add any value in my life other than nonstop childishness.

My fellow members kindly clear your gadgets of any material you do not want in the public domain especially if you do mobile banking and buy stuff online. Of course the involved thugs will deny, deny, minimize, ridicule this because they now know their gig is up.

All I’m asking you is please protect yourself bcz Admin won’t. Don’t put your photos in swimsuit on your phone and they end up circulating all over the internet.

BTW you can download an app that looks like a calculator but is a kind of vault where you can hide your photos and documents, you can only acess if with a password. Immediately put your stuff in there but if you do alot of mobile banking and online payments you are not safe they can get your passwords and they can also steal your identity and borrow money with or just use it for criminal activities. This is why I reported TO DCI Cybercrime unit so that incase they commit crimes with my stolen identity they are aware that my phone data is being stolen. Btw they are very understanding if you have any issues see them please.

Serious accusations here… someone like@electronics 4 u should at least tell a lie on behalf of ktalk:cool:

Jojina there is a whole lot of truth in your post. There is no security on KT…a very careless and clueless admin in charge. I believe KT has changed owners several times in the recent past tho.
Woe unto those who use their phones to log in here…hio siwezi kubali mimi. A few years ago one could delete inbox messages but nowadays we can’t. WHY?
KT is a home for cyber bullies too. An extremely dangerous place to post any confidential info too…perfect place for cyber harvesting. It is also not place for women. One needs ovaries made of steel or learn how to effectively use the B button.

@administrator @Mundu Mulosi Bs Ms Ma PhD and ScD @Electronics4u there are some "wild " allegations here that you need to address.

first off stop fear mongering, consult professionals before commenting on some things,so ktalk has whats called https ,google what that is,and for someone to get into your device through ktalk you must be having a very old pre-2000s device, infact i would have more success on hacking you through fb thank ktalk, ktalk doesn’t ask for any special permissions on your devices it’s not even a mobile app,has no plugins to inject anything on your device basically a carte blanche joomla driven website.so relax and be more worried of your facebook account and myriads of apps on your phone than ktalk

Kapanty mtu akisteal nudes zako tunosha macho nazo, hio tu,nothing else

We are on to you. Game over.

AGAIN I REITERATE DON’T HAVE ANY INFO YOU DON’T WANT OUT THERE IN A GADGET YOU USE TO ACESS Ktalk everything is discussed and shared on telegram, the dets told me they’re monitoring some which are upto no political good too. You think you so smart? Rotting in jail for 5 yrs per count si mchezo. You are the one whose behind will be hacked.

Hackers Could Steal Your Data and Use It to Extort Nude Photos—in Fact, They’re Already Doing It to Hundreds of People Every Day
“Sextortion” is the fastest-growing hacking sex crime—and there’s currently no legal protection for its victims.

Imagine your phone is hacked and your very personal information is stolen: phone numbers, pictures, emails, everything. You are now being blackmailed by the hacker. The request? That you send sexual pictures of yourself or engage in sexual acts on video. Fail to comply and your sensitive information or photos will be exposed to your family, friends, and colleagues.

This nightmare scenario is one faced by hundreds of people across the United States every single day—and there are currently no laws protecting them.

Welcome to the growing pheonomon of “sextortion,” a widespread form of corruption in which sex—not money—is the currency of the bribe. Employers, teachers, public officials, and ordinary citizens are blackmailing victims to have sex with them or send them pornographic images in exchange for the protection of their own information. Think of this as the next step in the phone-hacking sex crimes perpetuated against female celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence—only they can happen to anyone.

Women, girls, and teenagers are the ones most at risk. Using false identities, online predators manipulate them to share private information and images. And so begins the vicious cycle: once these images are obtained, more and more are demanded. The victims cannot escape.

And perpetrators could be anyone. Earlier this year, Michael C. Ford, a former U.S. State Department employee, was sentenced to five years in a federal prison for using his computer at the American Embassy in London to hack into the online accounts of young women and search for sexually explicit content. He would then steal these images and blackmail his victims. Ford targeted hundreds of women, some as young as 18, and was ready to ruin their lives. He threatened to send their intimate photos and videos to family members or post them online—names and addresses included—if the women didn’t make sexually explicit videos specifically for him.

A victim of a different sextortion crime, identified as Elizabeth, had nude images stolen from her email. When she did not comply with the hacker’s demands for more sexual content, her photos were distributed to hundreds of pornographic sites with her identity included. She has been harassed and stalked since then, and says the shame and lack of control has at times taken over her life.

Victims of sextortion often suffer like Elizabeth—enduring devastating and long-lasting harm because the psychological (and reputation) damage is felt long after the initial crime. They live in constant fear that the images may show up at any time, or anywhere. Yet, victims fear that reporting the crime will only lead to more embarrassment, so they generally don’t seek help.

According to a new TrustLaw report from the Thomson Reuters Foundation, produced by the law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, most acts of sextortion go unnoticed, unreported, and unpunished.

In the case of Ford, he was indeed charged, but only with computer hacking and cyberstalking. He did not face charges of extortion for sex or sexual images, because such specific laws do not exist.

The person who stole Elizabeth’s photos was never prosecuted at all.

Despite increased recognition from law enforcement agencies that sextortion exists—and that it is indeed on the rise—the United States currently lacks adequate legal solutions to tackle the scope of this crime. While technology has radically transformed the way we connect, interact, share, and access information, the law has not been updated to address this fast-growing reality, leaving victims powerless and predators loose on the prowl.
most acts of sextortion go unnoticed, unreported, and unpunished.
Progress starts with reframing this type of blackmail as illegal. The TrustLaw report, produced for Legal Momentum, America’s oldest legal advocacy group for women, calls for the recognition of sextortion as a specific and growing sex crime—and for the adoption of appropriate legal measures to fight it across the United States.

In many cases, small modifications to existing laws could incorporate the definition of sextortion, protecting thousands of would-be victims. (For example, one very simple amendment could be made by adding “sex or sexual images” to the list of “things of value” that cannot be demanded through force or threat.)

Sextortion is also getting visible political support. Earlier this year, Katherine Clark, a Democratic representative from Massachusetts, called for a new federal law criminalizing sextortion, and Barbara Boxer, a Democratic senator from California, has formally asked Attorney General Loretta Lynch for information on how the Justice Department collects data on sextortion cases.

But protecting victims who are being blackmailed into supplying sexual images of themselves shouldn’t be a polarizing political issue. It is a common-sense reform that everyone should get behind in this dangerous new digital age.

It’s a genuine question. I mean why now? Almost 7 years after Ktalk started. Why you?
I think @administrator who is more technical than I am will take up with you regarding these serious allegations.
