What I do not like about Apple is that they pretty much invented planned obsolescence by welding batteries to gadgets or developing software with no backward compatibility. Worst of al was the recent idea to remove audio jacks and USB connections from some iPhones and Macbooks so that people have to go and by all sorts of dongles and adapters at the iStore for a premium!
